Hibernal Bliss
Radiant, majestic, she stole my breath, stilled my heart. A frigid kiss sealed my mouth. The cool blot of her fingertips pressed against my eyelids. I surrendered to her icy embrace.
Fingers and toes she gnawed hungrily. Shriveled and obscene, I wore their blackness on gnarled hands, formal gloves for the occasion. One puckered band she left, ghastly pale encircling my finger.
My betrothal alone never satisfied her. Warmth she craved and warmth she stole, ravenous of her suitors. In the deepest night, we will rise and hunt. Our devoted legions fill her timeless world, a court of the damned.
