It is time to bring more virgins to the ogre. I don’t think he knows whether they are virgins or not, but he has read, in the virgin-eating-ogre manual, that he eats virgins and so he assumes that is what we bring him. He always works strictly by the book. This is his first job as a small-town virgin-eating ogre—he wants to get the job done right, perhaps earn a letter of recommendation when he moves on. Fat chance. Two cycles past we slipped in a mother of two and last cycle we pushed a many-times over grandfather. This will be his last cycle here. The town has already voted to sack him. He gets his termination letter as soon as he finishes off this grand-aunt and three uncles. I want to be there to see him delightfully fill his emptiness and then learn, ineptly sated, he has to move on.
